تسلّمت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية اليوم الأحد متلزمات طبية ووقائية من الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي في فلسطين.
وقالت وزارة الصحة في بيان صحفي، إن هذا الدعم يأتي للمرّة الثالثة لصالح عيادتين مسحيتين حكوميتين في الخط الأمامي لمواجهة فيروس كورونا بعد أن قام مكتب “كويكا” في فلسطين بدراسة مطالبهم العاجلة من المواد الاستهلاكية الطبية.
وأشارت إلى أن التبرع كان لصالح المركز الوطني الفلسطيني للتأهيل، والذي استخدم كمستشفى رسمي لعلاج المرضى المؤكد اصابتهم بالكورونا في محافظة بيت لحم منذ بداية الأزمة، إضافة إلى مركز جنين الشبابي.
وقدمت وزيرة الصحة د. مي الكيلة- Mai Alkaila شكرها للوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي على دعمها الكبير والمستمر لوزارة الصحة، خصوصاً في ظل جائحة كورونا.
وحضر التسليم محافظ محافظة جنين اللواء أكرم رجوب والدكتور وسام صبيحات مدير مديرية صحة جنين، وهشام سلامة المدير الاداري للمركز الوطني للتأهيل في بيت لحم.
وقدّمت الوكالة الكورية، كمامات جراحية، وكفوف، أقنعة البخاخات، أقنعة الوجه، وبرابيش تنفس بناءً على الاحتياجات الضرورية للمركزين بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة.
يشار إلى أن المركز الوطني الفلسطيني للتأهيل، افتُتح في كانون الثاني لعام 2019 كأول مركز حكومي لعلاج مدمني المخدرات في فلسطين، ويتكّون من ثلاث طوابق بقيمة اجمالية خمسة مليون دولار أمريكي، فيما تم تمويل مركز جنين الشبابي، من الوكالة الكورية للتنمية وتمّ افتتاحه بشهر آب 2018 و هو مبنى مكّون من طابقين بما في ذلك مسرح و صالة رياضية بقيمة اجمالية بلغت 3.6 مليون دولار أمريكي.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has received medical and protective items from the Korea International Cooperation Agency and KOICA Alumni Association in Palestine on Sunday, 20 December 2020.
This support comes for the benefit of two governments anointed clinics at the front line against COVID-19 after the KOICA Palestine Office surveyed their urgent demands of the medical consumables:
The Palestinian National Rehabilitation Center (PNRC) in Bethlehem, inaugurated in January 2019, as the first governmental center to treat drug addicts in Palestine, consists of a three-story building with a total budget of USD 5 Million. Due to the lack of medical facilities, MOH has decided to use PNRC as an official hospital to treat confirmed patients of coronavirus in Bethlehem Governorate from the very beginning of the COVID-19 situation.
Another center is the Jenin Youth Center (JYC), which is also a KOICA funded project in August 2018, with a budget of USD 3.6 Million. JYC has also been announced by the Palestinian MOH as a local hospital to sort corona patients in Jenin Governorate, taking advantage of the large infrastructure with sufficient room for initial tests for diagnosis. To this end, it is expected to ease the strain on existing hospital systems; MOH equipped it with the necessary medical equipment to serve the new target.
The Delivery took place in the presence of Governor of Jenin Colonel AkramRjoob, Dr. WisamSbihat, Director of Primary Health Care Clinics in Jenin, Mr. HishamSalameh, Director of the Palestinian Rehabilitation Center in Bethlehem.
KOICA supportedsurgical masks, gloves, nebulizers, circuit connections, based on the urgent needs and demands of both clinics in coordination with the Palestinian MOH.
What is the KOICA:
Established in 1991, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) manages grant aid programs of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to promote International Cooperation with a mission of “leave no one behind with people-centered peace and prosperity.”. It is pursuing global-wide sustainable issues in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The KOICA Palestine Office currently supports three (3) ongoing projects for Palestine: The National School of Administration (2014-2020/M 7 USD); Palestine Start-up Support program (2016-2020/M 7 USD), and the project of Administrative Service Improvement for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expertise (2018-2020/M 2.2 USD). In addition to that, various kinds of training and scholarship programs for the capacity building of Palestinian, which takes place yearly in the Republic of Korea in cooperation with the Palestinian government.
